Shereen McCarthy

Welcome! I’m a movement-focused therapist dedicated to helping you break through healing plateaus so you can stop feeling fragile and start trusting your body again. Over my 20+ years in practice, I’ve remained committed to continuing my education to bring you the best in physical and mental recovery.

My offerings are customized to fit your unique recovery goals:

Rapid NFR & Fascial Stretch Therapy: Fully clothed, active movement work to restore joint mobility and speed up recovery.
Therapeutic Sports Massage: The perfect blend of deep therapeutic relief and relaxation after gym training or outdoor adventures (done in shorts and a sports bra for your comfort).
Access Bars: A quiet, soothing touch therapy designed to calm mental noise and reset your mind.

My Clinical Toolkit

Access Bars: Experience deep relaxation and a mental reset. This gentle, non-invasive energy-healing technique involves lightly touching 32 unique points on your head to help release the electromagnetic charge of accumulated stress, old thoughts, and emotional blocks. Many clients describe it as a "soft reset" for the mind, leaving them feeling deeply calm, mentally clear, and profoundly relaxed—much like the feeling after a deep meditation or massage.
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST): A table-based, stretching system that uses gentle traction and PNF to create more space in the joints and calm the nervous system. f you have not previously seen me for FST please book the Initial Fascial Stretch appointment. This is an in-depth health intake and movement assessment.
RAPID NeuroFascial Reset: For stubborn, chronic pain. We target deep tissue, nerves, and ligaments to quickly reset the brain's pain signals. If you have not previously seen me for Rapid NFR please book the Initial Rapid appointment. This is an in-depth health intake and movement assessment.
Sports Massage Therapy: Customized just for you. I will base my treatment plan on your areas of concern and the health intake form. Sessions are 60 or 90 min. I am only seeing current FSTg or NFR clients for sports massage. I am a RMT in Alberta but not in British Columbia. Please check with your benefits provider to see if my treatments are covered under your benefits.
